![]() ![]() I know, that this CPU isnt made for OC and 1.5 vcore is a bit high vcore even for 4.8 ghz on K CPUs as well and its a bit strange, that i need to set such high vcore while i have only 4.3 ghz, which is only +1Ghz from stock. So, the question is - Is it ok to have such high vcore on this CPU (it became stable with this vcore, 8h prime 95 with no issues and 89c only) and is +300mhz worth + 0.2 vcore? Thx for answers guys. I increased vcore 3 or 4 times, until i set +0.2 offset, which means i have around 1.1 vcore in idle and 1.448 max during gaming or tests. ![]() ![]() 1.2 manual still was bad, and I tried to switch to offset. So Now im running at 4.3 Ghz which is perfect for me, BUT i was cathing BSODS which was really annoying, so I started experiments with Vcore. Socket Type, LGA1155, LGA1155 CPU Class, Desktop, Desktop Clockspeed, 2.9 GHz, 3.3 GHz Turbo Speed, Up to 3.6 GHz, Up to 3.7 GHz. Ive set x41 multiplier and 103 bus speed. Now, i suggested to do extreme OC for this CPU, which is not suited for OC at all. The memory controller has been updated to officially support DDR3-1600/1333, and theres support for the new PCI Express 3.0 standard. Ive used to OC it to 4.0 using turbo boost multiplier and increased a vcore to +0.08 offset. I have ASUS Z77 V LX mobo and core i5 3550 3.3 Ghz stock. ![]()
